| I got this 42" LG Plasma TV for free but it was not working properly - it seemed to turn itself on and off with no user input!! I quickly located the problem and removed nine damaged (& obsolete) capacitors. I replaced them with new capacitors and put it all back together. The replacement capacitors are rated for 7,000 hours, so I think it was $5 well spent. I love it when a repair just works on the first try - it's very satisfying :) |
