| The newest member of my family: Panasonic's 2012 mid range plasma, the ST50, released in april 2012 (and my first plasma tv) Had this tv just under a week so thought i would give my impressions for others interested in purchasing this tv. Amazing TV.. I demo'd this tv against a samsung series 8 LED, Sony's 2012 LED range,Panasonics VT50 (top of the range) and Samsungs 2012 plasma's and this TV blew them away.The only contender was the VT50 but i honestly couldnt see that much difference side by side. This TV is Reference picture quality. Blu ray and games (16ms input lag!) in Hi-Def look stunning. I have never seen a tv with black levels as deep as this tv. Half the price of a top of a range LED with better picture quality imo Design wise, there are better tv's out there but i bought this tv purely based on picture quality. 3D also looks amazing on hugo!! (and i aint a fan of 3d!) . Menu's,Internet and apps are really really fast, this tv has a really fast dual core processor so everything opens and closes very very fast. I also have a Sony 55HX823 LED TV but this tv is just so much better that the Sony is now going in the bedroom upstairs! Panasonics plasma range from 2011 won best tv of the year nearly everywhere and IMO they will win this year as well.
