[Answer at bottom] Tip- HD shows more detail of the problem. I just got this Plasma, and I'm worried about this problem I'm having. Perhaps its just the display settings on my PS3? Im at a loss. Its ONLY when I pop in a movie, SOME of the blacks have flickering pixels all throughout the panel. Like i show, the problem doesn't exist in the PS3 menu. Do you think it has something to do with the features of the GT50? Perhaps its only happening when a dvd/bluray is playing? Netflix looks great, better blacks than a bluray because of this problem causing the blurays blacks to lack clarity and depth. Please help!!! Explanation- So I was irritated flipping through the display settings on the TV itself, when I turned ON the C.A.T.S. feature in the picture settings lowering the brightness (too much) but it fixed the problem! So I turned that back OFF and went up to the Brightness setting, and lowered it one click and bam, just like that, the problem was gone. Now keep in mind I was on the THX Cinema mode so the brightness was at +50, so I lowered it to +45 just to be safe and my blacks are perfect now, no more annoying flickering pixels throughout the display. Im a happy camper, I hope this helps you. It was quite the relief for me, I know that.
