| This is XBMC, running on a Nettop PC with Win7 on it. Connected to my TV via HDMI. The skin is use is "Rapier".
I have a Gigabit Network Connection with 2 NAS Servers. Total Storage Capacity of about 5 TB. I use XBMC for both Movies and TV-Series. I do not use all the plugins available for services like Youtube, Trailers, etc. Database Maintenance is quite a lot of Work, but the Result is worth it. I also do not use XBMC for live TV, however i think that should be possible? Just as a reminder, before the comments flow in - Yes, many of the series and movies i have in there are from the internet. Over the years i collected this stuff. Movie Downloads and Rental are in the Swiss iTunes-Store, which i have to use, for only like the last 2-3 Months. And TV-Series are still not available. Once that is at a state of like the US-Store, my usage for XBMC will go back. However, i like the open format and the tweaking is a lot of fun, having all that on a platter would be quite a timesaver... More to that issue when i discuss the Apple TV. |
